More than just a “tribute” to Lynyrd Skynyrd, a tribute to the man that defined it. ![]() Her most recent album is “Always and Forever.”īrian Hyland is an internationally renowned artist and performer beginning in 1960 when he recorded his infamous Gold Record, “Itsy Bitsy Tennie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini” which topped the charts and “Sealed With A Kiss” which also went to #3 in 1962, “The Joker Went Wild” in 1966 was Top 10 and in 1970 “Gypsy Woman” which also went to #3. She is a major star in the country and tours there for two months every year. Peggy continues to record and tour. Her commercial success in Germany has continued to today. She recorded 18 singles and several albums for RCA Victor between 19. Internationally, Peggy made a strong presence in the European and Asian music markets and moved to Germany in 1969. The million selling single made her the youngest female to have a number one record, an accomplishment that still holds. “I Will Follow Him” also went to #1 in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan, and Scandinavia. Her subsequent singles “I Wish I Were a Princess” and “Hello Heartache, Goodbye Love” made the Top 30 in the United States, with the latter also reaching #29 on the UK Singles Chart. The label dubbed her “Little Peggy March” and in 1963, at the age of 15, her recording of “I Will Follow Him” went to #1.
